Quick trip to NPD this morning, started off trolling, then moved on to shrimpfishing and back to trolling again. Managed over 30 bass and nearly as many spangles.

Nice spangle, shame they don't get to a couple of kilos!!

Spanglies have been quite for a long time but they are back in force at the moment, been picking them up on lures as well.

You've made some more pots then Dino? Hopefully these ones last longer  do you get all of your bass out in open water or do you fish the numerous bays/inlets?

I never get locked in to fishing the same spots although I keep visiting them, I usualy try to mix things up a bit, as I keep telling people if you never go you never know, so I catch them in the open most of the time but every now and again I go exploring into the backwaters.

You did well I reckon! I was thoroughly put off by the wind since last Friday.

 

This weekend is looking half decent though.
