Fishing Report

I set off this morning to head to lake kurwongba to do some freshwater fishing. Having never fishe there land based before I wasnt quite sure what to expect. I have been having a little bit of trouble with my baitcaster lately ( just confidence) and decided to take my baitcaster and spin rod. I walked along and found a place that looked to be ok for fishing so I set my place up and started. Unfortunately nothing was biting for me. After around 3 hrs I went jjust under the Petrie bridge at Petrie and thought I may as well take both my rods cause I have nothing better to do. I decided to use my baitcaster and switch between lures so I get confident with it again. After about half and hour I switched to my spin rod with no success. So I went back to my baitcaster. I kept doing this till I had enough and went home. 

All in all it was a great morning even if I had a donut. It was just fun getting more confident with my casting of the baitcaster and using differnet lures.

You're not the only one who donuts at lake K! You probably still learnt a thing or two and will be better when you have another go next time
