queensland Ningi On The Yaks With Ferg

Ken and I launched at Ningi boat ramp in Ningi Creek about 7am. Water was running hard and well up the ramp already. First time in salt with the electric, so took my time and Ken was already fishing by the time I launched.

Was a reasonably slow morning with a good flattie each caught, Ferg got a good size bream as well as smaller flatties and an indignant grunter Ferg caught I could hear from 50m away! Tide topped out around 10ish, so we headed for the ramp and home. Was starting to get pretty warm by that stage.

 

The electric was great, a bit fast for trolling, so all my fish today were caught casting.

caught many Jacks in there @Binder?

I dont remember catching any legal jacks in there, think I might have got a couple of under size ones. There is little permanent water where there is any snags in this area, probably further upstream would be a better chance.
