Boat Detailing

I had my 2004 model boat detailed today by Marine Detailing Solutions. Dusty (the owner) and his helper Ty spent 7 hrs on site putting a shine back into the boat. Very happy with the gel coat and the level of detail they went to. As if it was their own boat.

I removed all the pinstripes and rego numbers prior to detail. Going to replace them and possibly put a name on the boat Luvit. 

After this the next thing is to replace the Bimini with a stainless steel foldable Targa cover and clears.

I didn't see it before but it has come up very nicely. Shinier than my nose.

Probably improve your fuel consumption ! haha

It is an older boat 2004 model and just trying to get as good as it can be based on the condition i bought it at.

It won't go any faster with the crap anti foul on the bottom of hull unfortunately. It is not something i wanted at all but the boat was the model and brand I wanted so thems the breaks when buying second hand.

Just order the decals, so in 2 weeks time I can get back on the water.

Does she have an electric winch ?  I cannot see an obvious place for the anchor to be hauled (sprit/roller etc). This is a good sign haha.

The anchor is recessed and contained in the front bow. It is rare that I anchor any time except for mooring for the night. The yanks think of everything even the chain is plastic coated to protect the gel coat. In the even that I need to anchor I have a anchor pull polystyrene foam ball and s/s ring. Easy pezy.

I looked at the local business to do the stickers but found a US site's designing tool was so easy to use. I ordered from them and the life of the stickers were double that the local ones offered. made and shipped to me around 10 days.

The shine is great in the sun.

It only looks beautiful when your in it Ellicat.

That's because the sun shines from that part of me that is often in the air offshore to make the shine shimmer !

just be aware that if ordering a gold it is now a different result based on new process. Luvit was done 8 months ago and the Grady was recent. The Gild in the Grady was suppose to match the gold on the Luvit but is a lot darker. May not effect you at all, but just letting you know. The stickers I got are epoxy coated and domed not flat. Very easy to install.
