Live in Sydney (Pyrmont) and haven't found a regular spot yet. I've tried out a few places like Blackwattle Bay, Birkenhead Point, Milk Beach and Cremorne Point but have had limited success.

Still trying to figure this stuff out but I do enjoy spending time outdoors even if I don't catch anything.

I am planning to head to the Royal Nasho at the end of the month and giving Wattamolla beach/lagoon a try.

As you are starting out you might also consider targeting your questions around species and tactics... For example a lot of techniqies that work for bream and flathead up here will work for you down there
