queensland Back On The Lures

Set off with a goal of getting 72 bass this morning on my 72nd birthday, well I got the 7 in the tally it was 57 a few short. I was to busy lure fishing and ran out of time to build the numbers up. Found the first school and trolled some crazy deep lures through them for several hookups, then jigged a few. Moved off and found another school and they would only take trolled lures. Overall I had a good morning, but 6 hours later I am still rocking, as you can see I was wind assisted on the way home.

Happy bday dino! If I'm half as mobil at your age mate I'm doing well, will call you soon. Busy getting back on my feet after being sick again and getting back into work.

Yeah I have had the dreaded man flu, first time in over 10 years, I blame the flu needles being late, now I cant have one until flu completely gone.

As far as being 57 again, the mind is but the body cant keep up,just bought myself a cheap bushbasher kayak to leave down at my sons place, just have to get healthier to use it.

Thanks mate, there is not to much water to yak in as you spend more time out of the yak than in it. But there is a nice bit of water on another property I hope to explore.
