How Good is WillyWeather!!!!!!

I used to wade through various links with multiple tabs like bom.gov to determine what the weather forecast, local tide time, wind direction/strength, moon phase, sunrise/sunset etc was before thinking of going for a fish.

Then I found.................................drum roll...................................WillyWeather. Its so good to have all of these things on the one site and so easy to navigate (eg in top left the "View Locations Map icon) allows you to scroll to nearby locations in case the conditions like wind dont look appealing.

I guess many of you already know of it, but in case you don't, it saves a lot of trouble.

It is very handy and I use it in combination with other websites to try to get a feel for the wind forecast/s. I don't trust Willy alone.

Other websites to check wind forecast include -

http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/meteye/

https://www.windfinder.com/forecasts/

Yeah I’ve been using willy weather since I started fishing probably and ditched the Kmart gear . It’s pretty good I just go on the app and check the conditions before fishing or when planning a trip I’ve found everything to be accurate besides the wind but most of the time the wind reading is pretty close to the actual wind other times it’s completely different
