After spending days in the rain catching virtually nothing except in the nets my daughter bella bought a couple of crab pots and left them out over night ending up with a couple of jenny so i threw both pots back in till she woke up to check them, she goes down i hear screeming [img size=500]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/ooh_my_god_what_is_that.jpg

you will need a lot of luck to land the cod here they are notorious dirty fighters i got a bit of a giggle watching kev get bricked here a few times in a row its happened to everyone who has fished here:)

ooh by the way the cod and crabs were all caught in a 19.95 pot using 4 bony bream zip tied to the bottom and stabbed in the guts to make them stink

this is cabbage tree creek at deagon on the northside i back on to the creek up the top where it gets real narrow still a few good fish around here though .

nah, lee, ppl don;t always need 24lb of drag ( well, ppl thin like me)

i think most ppl can be impressed with 10lb of drag and 4-5lb is all u need for dragging big bream and flattie
