queensland Schultz this morning 15/3

Fishingkid and myself went for a quick fish this morning at the bridges in Schultz Canal. With his leg in plaster we didn't have a lot of options avaialable where walking was involved. We went armed only with some worms and prawns and proceeded to wet the lines. There were lots of bites and lots of bate stealers.caught a couple of bream (tiny) though,fishing kid got a nice flatty to the shore line but he got away:( although fishing kid did manage to reef in a excelent sized whiting... Nice whiting, but I reckon it might be March not Feb(unless this is a very overdue writeup)!

Good one. I thought about hitting Schultz this morning. Looks like there's whiting everywhere at the moment. That's the biggest I've seen caught there. Should have put a hook in it:woohoo: There's some decent flatties right where you were fishing at times.

Whiting at schultz? never seem them there before.

Looks like the tide is pretty low ... seems to be more fish to catch when the tides pretty low at schultz.

The tide was really low and it was tough rigging up so often with all the snags we managed to get. A good sized whiting was also unexpected for us as we only expected the bream and flatties.
