Gerty, some people do row kayaks out to reefs, a couple kms off shore.

Killer whales do come and feed in really shallow waters. It's been documented that they've hunted areas where there's more whale than water:P - Ie beaches where they use the waves to get in and out.

theres a comment there added by a marine biologist, he says that he had to investigate the whole thing. he rekons the guys survived the initial suprise of the whale jumping on him, but this was the whale \"testing his response\" whatever that means, and apparently forty seconds later two men where eaten
