I going do the naughty thing and have a fish before work with my mate the crazy chef. He wants something to serve up for lunch.

Plan is to chase some sharks and stuff around the Gold Coast City Council Chambers in the Nerang River. Anyone ever fished there before?

Just going to use frozen baits, SP's and any live stuff I can get from a couple of goes with the cast net from the jetty.

Used to get some really good sand whiting off there mate and mangrove jack around the bridges.

Oh - I tried SP's but got nothing - next time I'll just go straight to the mouth and chase some mack, tuna and trevs.
