boat ramps

would anybody know of the best ramp to leave from around scarbrough is and what kind of depth they have i have a fiberglass 5.5 meter and worried about it being to shallow. brad

The main one, Near coastguard can get quite shallow but i've seen plenty of big boats launch their. I think u should avoid it on a dead low though. The other one near the caravan park im not sure about.

what about scarborough boat harbour?

As shrimpo and benno said the Scarborough boat harbour is your best bet.

You have the choice of the main ramp next to the coastgaurd or the other one near the yacht club.

I have used both of these plenty of times.

You should have no trouble with the main one however the smaller one next to the yacht club can be a bit shallow at low tide
