Best mono for a baitcaster

Hey guys just looking to respool my Fuego and was wondering what line I should use. I only use it trolling for bass and would prefer mono over braid as when I do cast there is the inevitable birds nests every now and then.

Currently spooled with 6kg pretest. Only fish in dams so timber not a drama usually.

I have used Berkley Vanish in the past and found it pretty good to cast. I will be very tempted when I respool my reels to use it again.

I just put some 12lb Sunline Basic Flurocarbon on my BC and it works fine. Takes a bit of getting used to as the line really wants to come off the spool. It is much more sensitive than mono.

Might be a bit tricky to use though if you're new to using baitcasters. Maybe try a low stretch mono like the one made by Platypus.
