hey,

been fishing the middle reaches of the river last couple of weeks, got some nice threadys 50cm-95cm and a 78cm shovel nose,

well theres a challenge for yah u know where they are now see if you can catch on on lure

.around high and dead low seems to be wen there on at this spot, can be differnt depends were ya fishing ay....

all fish realesed btw

yea ive tried lures , 4 inch atomic prongs, prawnstars, masked vibes.... but its to deep, before it gets to the bottom the current sweeps the lure of the bank, might have to give it a crack at night when there in the in closer...

I picked up a copy of "Fishing World" yesterday and noticed there is an article called "Brisvegas Threadies", I haven't read it yet but at a quick scan I noticed they are talking about catching them in the Brisbane River - should be an interesting read.
