Bait - Cast netting

Hi All

Anybody able to share a decent spot to get livies cast netting. Normally launch boat from fishermans island boatramp and go thru boat passage to river.

Only a 12 foot tinnie though, so if its even blowing a little, can't normally get past the mouth.

The calm water on the inside of the pinkenba rock wall looks like a good spot, but so many rocks, anybody loose prop blades there before?

Got a sounder?

If you have just check the bottom near the ramp, (make sure no rocks or snags) thats the easiest place to start.

try around the pipeline at boggy creek or near the poo pipe

poo pipe usually has a few mullet and herring around it
