queensland Burpengary creek today

Well the weather is way to good to waste on mowing the lawn and with a 10 am high tide and since the missus works nights now, when the kids wake up, I'll them down Burpengary creek for a few hours, let mum sleep in.

Gee the things we do for our wives eh?

Anyway I'll stick Calum and Alex in Alex's boat, take daughter in mine, that will cut down on the fighting as well!

My old man used to walk along the creek bank till he found a spot then he would set me up to fish, then go a fair way and set my brother up to fish then he would take up a spot in the middle for himself and watchout if you made a single noise.

only managed one flatty there last week...but mullet where everywhere..the most i have ever seen in the creek...and some size about em too....hope you guys do better!

I have been gettin quite a few decent bream in there lately. But without a live well they have been getting spooked after throwing a couple back into the school. Green or Purple flickbaits have been the gun lures for me.

Yeah, pretty much.

Put up with the kids fighting for as long as I could then came home.

Boat looks like a cyclone hit it, crap everywhere!

When unpacking at the end of the trip, got a door handle caught in my brand new shirt, and ripped a hole clean through it, not happy!
