this one is for the ppl who havent signed up for the BRC comp yet but are competing, what is everyone calling themselves for the comp? I kinda thought of the cornious name i could think of and yeah i chose that. My team will be BIG DAVE & THE BIG BAD BOYS.

Well although i will not competing as i will judging etc, i will still stand by my team name (and John as well) of \"The Great White Bodies\".

can anyone tell me if last years brisbane river classic had a shark catorgory? and if so what was the winning weight?..... is it all kill and weigh? or is there another way?

Lasy Brisbane River Classic was pretty much a practice.

There were no sharks caught, but as it was held in winter thats no surprise.

Winning fish did include, Bream, Cod and large Threadfin Salmon.

This year we are a lot more organised and it looks to be a good weekend.

And yes for this years classic it will be a dead weigh in.

hmm are sharks a cleaned weight? gilled and guted? how many of you intend on sharking in the comp?

I may go in the comp I dont know about the have them cleaned and guted befor hand ? is that in the rules ? :pinch: that sucks if it is

And as for sharks is there a way to know if they came from somewhere eles ? I dont want to be in it if someone wins with a none bris river shark or any fish .

I seen it down south in a carp comp some guy had river carp in a lake comp

Yeah the rules on the entry form state that all captures must be gutted and gilled. And for IceK each team is allowed to way in one capture per category per day.
