Gday all

Gerty and myself headed to the river today for a fish. Soft Plastics were used mainly as nothing was taking the hardbodys.

Gerty caught a beaut 38cm trevally on a large squidgy. It put up a great fight!

5 mins later he got a nice 50cm ish flattie to the rock(hint) before it rubbed his leader. It was another great fish.

We moved around a bit to find the fish and I finaly christend my loomis with a legal bream.

The trevor and flattie were both caught on rather large squidgies(fish and shad) on houserick jigheads and the bream was caught on a 3\"minnow.

Was a bit windy for light plastics today but still good fun.

Ye man i was so anoyed about the flattie...so close aswell he snapped the line when he was beached and he just slithered back in like a snake!!

Nice effort on the Trev mate. I saw them busting up the Mullet sending them into a nice spray 2 nights back but didn't have poppers heavy enough to get out there. I'm prepared for next time though with a Yo-Zuri 3D .

Well done mate.

Any Trev in the river i would call a bonus.

And at 38cm he must have given you a nice little run around.

Was it a silver, big eye or GT? Im guessing it was not a Golden, but then again the river never ceases to surprise me.
