Vale Peter Newell

I haven't seen a post about Peter here so I'll be the bearer of sad news.

Peter Newell passed away in the early hours of Friday morning Jan 9th after loosing his long battle with cancer.

Those of us who knew him, and indeed much of the fishing community will miss him sorely.

Peter was much more than a gifted and prolific lure designer. He was a devoted husband and father, a doting grandfather, a generous friend and an all round good and honest human being.

Rest in Peace Pete.

Ill be thinking of him the next time I catch a fish on one of his designs.

Sad news indeed. Some great looking and definitely well proven lure designs were crafted by Peter.
