Cobber Chris and I went plasticking this evening...low tide abt 530.. Soueaster 10 to 15knots so even paddling out we soon got our backsides wet plus the fact that the new retaining wall for the new bridge has changed the flow so much that in due course we might have difficulties getting in and out.

Plenty of small, and I mean small lizards on 1/8th 2H heads with 2inch Gulp mango/pink

shrimps on the outgoing tide. No big ones tho' BUT I snagged a snapper just size but on my 2kg pfleuger it was a buzz. No pics cos the camera doesn't like salt water.:P

Was down in that area myself this arvo between around 2.30pm to 4pm. Fished the rocks around Clontarf. Small flathead in that area as well. Well done on the snapper. Water was rougher that what I thought it would be and the lumps of seaweed certainly annoyed.
