queensland Any prawns in the logan river yet ????

Thinking of going out to the pylons at the logan river on saturday to try and get some prawns

Anybody heard or seen big numbers.

Yes - I have recieved a report of 22kg last weekend, report came form Greenies boy and a hardstand lad. It might be worth the effort this weekend.

They sound like horses running in the 3.15. What or where are they, are the pylons the best place to head for.

The prawns were further up the logan but after the rain I would suggest that they be closer to the power poles now.

went there last week and got my quoter watched one fella with a massaive cast net fill bucket after bucket and then take them to his car unload and then do it all again over about 8 hours, should have report it to the dpi
