which outboard ? advice please

In response to my request for an outboard iI have been offered 2 different outboards and am undecided which one to buy,

!. 115 mariner 2 stroke 2003 model.

2. 90 johno 2 stroke 2002 model.

Both present well and have had yearly dealer service history.

Anyone had any experience with either and know of any vices?

I am leaning towards the mariner as its $500 cheaper, and has more oomph, and have a vague memory of omc motors having oil injection problems but that could be 10 years ago.

I would probably go for the Mariner but, if it is possible, look aroud for a 4 stroke. If you get one, you will wonder why you ever had a 2-stoke.
