bass on sp's ??

hi all,

i was thinking of chasing bass on soft plastics for bit of a challenge, just wondering if anyone here has caught a bass before on a sp, if so what kind & colour

Yep, lots. 50mm Kokoda mad shad in the yellowy orange colour was my favourite. Squidgy Slick rigs, the mini ones (60mm) in black and silver are also pretty good. Hard to find though.

i bought some spinnerbait attachments today (it has the spinner,and the wire attaching the line to the lure, but you can attach your own lure) has anyone tried these out before ?

This is my plastic kit for North Pine Dam. Mostly paddle tailed grubs...Slider, Ecogear and Atomic. A few mini Slick rigs thrown in for distance casting. Some beetlespins which work really well. Especially with the Sliders, in fact, a Slider on a beetlespin is one of my favorite bass lures.

Get a few colours and see what the bass want. I usually go for more natural colours.

Those jigheads will be replaced with heavier ones for the winter bass.

yep, definitly give the sliders a go mate! they are one deadly lure for bass, especially if you rig a beetlespin attachment to them!

in deep water I like to pop an unweighted grub (orange body/white tail) over the side and let it slowly descend down through where the fish are showing on the sounder. In shallow water my vote is for the sliders too.

Sliders and eco gear have caught plenty of bass on them and atomic smoke yellow core and baby bass are great colours to start with.
