braid in the heat ??

hey all, i was cleaning out the car the other day (long overdue) and found a new spool of 3lb fireline crystal. the thing is, it has been sitting in my car for what would be close to a year now. would the heat during the summer have damaged the braid in any way, or should it still be good to use ???

Good question, being fireline it might have reduced its breaking strain down to 30 odd pound

as long as the spool itself didnt melt it should be fine ..haha

the spool is melted and warped out of shape on the outer walls, but the inside stemm that the line is wrapped around is still fine,

ah i'll give it a go, whats the worst that could happen.........
