Land Based Green Zone Infringement????

Being only a seemingly somewhat dying breed of land based fisho, I was wondering if I'd ever get into hot water for accidentally fishing a green zone from the land......And no, I can't cast a km out! Thanks for any info for what seems a silly Q, but someone was wittering on about the mouth of the river being illegal land based or something, or was it a dream??? Tootle Pip!

Yeah there are a few spots that used to be good land based that are now green, the walkways at Nudgee creek comes to mind as one.The other being the ocean side of Woody Point.

And yes they will book you if they catch you. They are very well marked on land though, you would have to be totally blind to miss the signs.

Only one I can see might be an issue on the south Side might be Pt O'Halloran

All the others that are close have a clearance zone so you can fish the beach.

Here is the green zones at Nudgee, used to be a few spots along the creeks there wandering through the boardwalks.

there is plenty of jacks in those boardwalks... oh well gives a place to breed and filter out through the rest of the system

ocean side of sth stradie is green in 1 stretch from the beach and authorities don't go easy on people fishing and claiming that they didn't know a particular rule they will just fine you
