Over head setup

Rito, so heading to Stanage Bay for 10 days at the end of the year and i'm looking for a good overhead setup for Barra and insure reef fishing (mainly soft plastic). Will also be looking at using this setup for impoundment barra and threadies in Brisbane river. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or thoughts as my old abu is down and out.

7 foot double handed baitcaster rod 6/12kg

and an abu ambassaduer 7000c loaded wity 30lbs braid

but a good all round low profile set up is what u want.

try an abu revo inshore, plenty of grunt. and put it on a 6-10kg quality graphite baitcaster.

get a t-curve - curado combo and youll be stoked. the rod is 6-10kg and get the 200e5 in the curado or maybe the 300

curado is a very, very good choice, i'd go a 200e. i have the jap domestic model and its way overkill for river threadies, can skull them up easily. holds a good amount of line (right now have 80m of 50lb non PE jigging braid) and can crank up to 5kg of drag
