queensland Mooloolaba Charters?

Hi guys,

Im heading to mooloolaba some time around xmas for a few days.

Can anyone suggest from personal experiences some good fishing charters that leave from Mooloolaba?

Smithy is about the best you will find if you are keen on a smaller boat, less people. he leaves early so will catch a few mackerel in summer.

Dunno what's good, but I know what's bad - Offshore reef and game. They took us out in rainy weather with 3m swells. Sick and cold for most of the trip, and only me and my friend caught anything good out of a part of 7 or 8. I guess its part of the risks of booking, but I just think they should be honest about sea conditions, especially to people who don't have much experience with the ocean. Would rather have forfeited deposit than have to go through that.

Not personal experience. But based on site reports id find it hard not to go with Smithy is I was heading up that way!
