Evinrude e-tec service

Hi All,

I have a evinrude e-tec 90 hp on the back of my quintrex 520 and its just starting to rattle a little when shes sitting at idle. Can anyone recommend a good authorised place to get it serviced. Thanks

River city marine I Know a few people who go there and say its good

You should get the etec's serviced regualy inspite if what they say. The rattle will get worse as the motor ages.

Etec Specialists.I wouldnt take mine anywhere else.

They were recommended to me from the BPR Rep.

I purchased my boat from River City Marine. I did not like the service attitude or support a recieved from them. The motor came with a prop that did not suit the boat or make the revs it should.

I asked if i should lift the motor 1 hole and was told it will not make a diference and that the motor would run in and make revs in its own time.

I lifted the motor 1 hole and found and extra 100 RPm and lotsa extra speed.

Thanks for the help guys, might give river city marine a go, paradise pt is a fair way to travel as I am at Bulimba.
