Hi all

Just a heads up that I've had a chat with AFO about changing the prizes for the ROTM just to keep things fresh.

We're going to drop the rods for a while and put up a Tomman reel for the next couple of months' winners.

Tomman reels aren't sold in Queensland yet so you probably haven't heard of them. Jump onto any fishing forum based in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand etc and you'll find them mentioned. They're pretty big through south-east Asia.

Anyway the Tomman Aluminium is up for grabs for the next couple of months. The Aluminium has 4 stainless steel ball bearings plus a one way clutch bearing, high strength machined drive gear and a robust aluminium body and spool.

There are a range of sizes are available and winners can have the option of choosing what they want from the 1000 to the 5000 models.

I've attached a pic of them below. The 4000 and 5000 have the large rubber knob.

Why do you think this deserves to win?:I dunno how I missed the report but its awesome. Great pics and its from a part of fishing that I honestly don't do enough of. The straight up bush bashing. It goes to show that with some commitment, mountain goat skills and a job that takes you around to the country side, you can catch some great fish. Well done mate.

Why do you think this deserves to win?: Show's a huge range of species and good sized fish as well. He also gave us every technique and lure that was used to catch each fish. Well written too!
