fergies mrs summer classic wrap up

fergie and myself set the alarm for 2.45am to drive from caloundra to bribie for the sign in and briefing,then headed back to caloundra to fish the passage.

on arrival at the passage we were swamped with mossie's was not fun

was looking like it was going to be a nice day,with the water being flat as and ian landing himself a PB trev 39cm (on lure)within the first 5 min.

but things didnt get much better then that

after trolling for a few hours with no such luck ,we had decided to hit up the creek flicking soft plastic,where i managed to land myself a 46cm lizard which got me 2nd place in the flatty catagorie :cheer: ,a couple minutes later fergie was on,only to loose him at the side of the boat

we then hit the snags with livies and bait,too no avail

all in all,we gave every thing ago but nothing seemed to work

but hey "that's fishing"

it was a weird day out on the water. phone fell out of top pocket while pumping yabbies , had a run in with a three fisherman who thought they owned the creek :whistle:, and the mrs beat me :pinch:

but that's better then sitting at home doing nothing :laugh:

i'm bored now, might go for a fish :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Your not the only one who beat him, theres a few fish around the bridge with big grins, was very entertaining watching jimmy getting fired up :laugh:
