Baroon Bass Questions

Q1) What size are most baroon bass?

Q2) What lures work best ,colour, size, type, spinners sps hardbodies atc etc

and troy dont say jackall sx40 s as im already paying off too much on my personal loan:P

last AFO trip the Tassies (standard 13gram) cleaned up at Baroon. Out of us yakkers (James, Ash, Angus and myself) I think almost all of the bass were caught on tassies (40-50?). I liked the pink colours, the others also worked. From memory - I think we tried scorpions, spinners, etc but they weren't as effective.

I don't know about size, probably 30cm ? We never measured any, but definitely not as big as the bass I've seen pulled out of NP.

As usual, head to a point and start flickin!

Next time I go to baroon, the first lure of choice will definitely be the Tassies

OZ I caught my 15+ mainly on GVibes (jackel look alike)

Also got several on White and Gold Spinners and 2 on minnows.

They are about the sane size as Hinze

The GVibe was the brown with white belly.

thanks guys the kokoda and tassies appeal to me as being quite cheap

Travis like Brian said -Vibes work a treat.

I have also had good luck with Halco Scorpions and Laser-Pros's. Oh and my best Baroon bass was on a frenzy.

Most bass are around the 30-40cm mark.

Someone from AKFF got a 48cm the other day and i beleive Feral has dropped one about this size at the boat before???

Anyway mate there are plenty of them so its good fun.

Yeah my biggest was 47 from Baroon. Winter tends to produce bigger fish.
