Lowrance Warrenty

After going to all the trouble of buying, installing and learning how to use my HDS-7, after washing the boat the other day, went to turn the thing back on and the display was a mass of coloured lines and just generally playing up. As the battery was low, i thought it may just be that so disconnected and left overnight to find no improvement in the morning. Finally discovered that the screen is not sealed to the frame at one end and as a result must have got water inside. Does anybody know the process with lowrance warranty if i have to go back through the shop i got it from or if i can simply send back to lowrance somewhere with a copy of the receipt? Also was purchased from USA so does that change anything?

Hopefully will all be covered but still frustrating i will be without a gps/sounder for at least a month and be left with a hole in my console during this time

You will have to send back to USA for warranty repairs.

if you want warranty you need to send it to the States. However if your willing topay for a repair it can be done in country.
