queensland Brisbane river landbased tomorrow friday 18th

Howdy y'all,

I'm keen to fish tomorrow night down at the Brisbane river after 9pm till something big is caught :laugh: .

So the thing is I have never fished the river and don't know where is best or anything so I'm hoping someone wants to join me or give any tips.

I do plan to cast net some live bait and seek a Thready or Jewfish.

Anyone?

Jindalee boat ramp, off the pontoon should see some sort of action.

New Farm Park, or Newstead at the mouth of breakfast Creek

Colmslie Recreation Reserve, or boat ramp

Luggage Point up at Myrtletown.

Some of my favoured spots for night time, but might be a few tools around being a Friday night, so be prepared

yeah marek id give brekky creek a go at the newstead park. i went there last night and my mate got five jewies all small but at least you know there there and we casted plenty of live prawn and herring of the pontoon. some of the prawns were almost to good for bait coz they were huge!! hope this helps.
