queensland Mooloolabah and Maroochy Rivers

Picked up some decent duskies over the weekend. On the Mooloolabah river, just past the Sunshine Motoway Bridge are a few good sandbanks in amoungst the mangroves were I picked up some good lizards. Nothing happening at the mouth though.

On the Maroochy, picked up a few flatties off Chambers Island late in the arvo with two legal sized fish caught just before sunset. As for lures, I found the Berkley Powerbait 3" Galaxy Green Minnow to be perfect, especially late afternoon when the sun makes the lure sparkle through the water. Overall, a good weekend on the water

It's always a good weekend when your on the water
