Back to bass paradise this morning. It was a bit touch and go as to whether I went with BOM strong wind warning and 20 knots and willy weather saying perfect conditions.Glad I believed Willy as it was perfect with glass out most of the day.

Baited my redclaw pots and then down to spot x stopping for a brief chaqt with Dino on the way down, He had a grin from ear to ear having done well on lures ant then getting into them on shrimp.

I went on to one of the other popular spots.

Some of you may recognise it.

I had a very good session with some nice fish caught but didnt crack a 50cm one

Got a bit busy at times with doubles and trebles.

Found a lure on the way back. Turned out that Dino had lost it. If you have any in your tackle box worth while trolling it at the moment.

Got usual half bucket of redclaw on the way back

Nice Bass Ray!! Some fatties there! Dino's lure looks just like the real thing.

The weather has been up and down as of late... different reports from different sites.. We're heading into the storm season and i guess there will be plenty more mixed weather reports

Ray, that pic of the first fish slightly overlapped the Zero.. push it back a bit in line with the Zero and then you will have 50

Yep, Plenty of Bass mate. All Bass are released and only 1 or 2 are kept. Bag limit is 2 Bass per person.

how many ways have you found to cook redclaw? throw a few in with the weetbix of a morning, redclaw sandwich for lunch and a redclaw cocktail as entree before redclaw stirfry for dinner? do you ever get sick of em Ray?
