Boat Hire Recommendation

Recommended Posts

Well after receiving a definitive 'No' from the misses re purchasing a tinnie, I'm left with the only option of hiring a boat every so often. I'll be looking to get my license in the coming weeks and will be keen to hire something in the 30 - 50hp range.

I've found 2 places that look OK: Smart Power Boat Hire and Brisbane Boat Hire.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these places or can recommend somewhere else to look at?

Cheers

I think I used BBH once when they were at Yatala (???)

Excellent idea especially when there's a few of you to share the cost. We took one for a few days when we went on a trip. No problems whatsoever.

If I was just heading out by myself or with one other to somewhere like the Pin, Pumicestone or Pine, I'd just use one of the little tinnies from the local hire places.

Don't forget you will need a boat licence.
