Mt Crosby bass. 8lbs fins,( phew! my knot held) 10 lbs mono leader, Tn 50 in ghost black red belly. I didnt have a mat, but reckon about 50cm. also got a smaller model around 40.

Oh nice. I went there yesterday, swam in shark infested water. had a brown snake swim past me. then almost stood on another brown snake on the walk back to the car. haha.

Well Done mate. A week ago I was getting a fish a cast in that same spot but couldn't attract a strike yesterday . But also had to dodge a couple of brown snakes - one making it's exit from the water at my feet :woohoo: - and a little tree snake. Good luck this arvo should be good in this weather.

geez crosbys turn to disgusting dump site its a friggin joke isnt it. some people have no respect for the enviroment at all. I picked up a heap of rubish the other day only to find new rubish there the next morning.

yes m8, got anther stonker at close to 50 again at 2pm, & yes the place was like a tip.

unfortunately, I didnt have a bag big enough for all the crap, including broken beer bottles to bring home.

like you said, bad & sad that people are too lazy to take their own rubbish home.

I saw all that rubbish when i went down last.

Beer bottles everywhere.

Might be looking for another spot around that area. Last time i went the water was pretty low. Cant find any snags to fish around for bass.

I'll nearmap it for a bit till i see something i like.
