I guess it goes without saying that there may well be a lot of boats coming up for sale, or through a mate of a mate, that will seem too good to pass up. Some will be legit with owners needing cash, some may be 'found stock'. I'm sure everyone here will do their best to make sure that they are legitemate owners that are selling the boats before buying them. Make sure they have paperwork to support ownership, and write their licence numbers and details yourself and set it aside for your protection. If it turns out it was a missing boat from the floods, and police will have someone to follow up if the situation eventuates.
