Can someone reveal a few spots around pine river?

can someone please reveal a few secret spots(landbased) around the lake or pine river to me please as i am new to this area.I was told the gravel quarry under the highway bridge worths a try, any other places? and what should I target.

Not my area of better knowledge matey,but if you head down to any street that has had flood water over it and ask someone there for some advice,I`m sure they will tell you where to go

Any spots that were good a week ago, most likely wont be now. The flooding that affected the north side, the bulk of that ran through the area you are asking about (the quarry etc) so unfortunately cant help with your enquiry at this stage.

Thanks mate, I know the area is currently affacted by flood:( . I have no plan of fishing rencently actually, but want to try some spots along the river a couple of weeks later when if the weather is good. So, disregarding the flood, is any places worth to go?:side:

At the mouth of the Pine Rivers where the bridges to Redcliffe are there's extensive flats worth trying for flathead, whiting & bream.

I'd fish the last of the outgoing tide and the incoming tide. Keep an eye on the rising water.

Also have a look at this site http://www.sunfishqld.com.au/ click on 'Sites of Interest' then 'Where to go fishing'.

It should give you plenty of shore-based options. Please note that the maps where published before the introduction of the green zones (eg Woody Point) so I'd be checking that you can still fish there.
