Boat ramps at the pin

Hi all, does anyone use walkers boat ramp at the pin. Its just south of cabbage tree point. I used to use it exclusively after having vandals flog stuff off my car when left at CTP. Its been about 8 years since Ive been to the pin and while I can see the walkers ramp on google earth, I dont know if its open to the public for a small fee like it used to be. Cabbage tree looks nothing like it used to with a new ramp and carpark but are the vandals still there ?

There is a ramp lower down from CTP with secure parking at Mars Marina.

I use rudy maas a lot myself especially if going over night. Good ramp protected from wind and tides too. Just don't tell everyone or it will be overcrowded. I haven't used CTP for a while, but never had any problem during the day...touch wood.

I have always used the Jacobs Well ramp and never had a problem yet. If going over night or a few nights then I park up near the park cabins as there are normally people sitting out on the decks watching around the place. Will have to look at RM though if its cheap to park securely there.

Or conversly, do you look at it as all the decent trailers will be in the one place providing a quality smorgasboard for the thieves?

+1 fo Jacobs well boat ramp. 8"if you buy bait from the bait shop n tell him you parked your vechicle in the car park he keeps an eye out for you also. Good ramp to drop and retrieve boat
