Yep, sometimes you'd swear they're dead, cut off a fillet for bait then walk past it 20 minutes later to see it having a swipe at your foot. I never hold one till it's head is removed! Plenty that size in the coomera in plague proportions.

Thats where we got these,found a little run off that we regularly go to and they are there everytime we need them

thats pretty hard to get to on land but you no that bend whre the big dirt patch is and the pvc pipe is in the ground i reckon its there

I personally just cut em off, especially if they are gut hooked as they are most times

i fish near where the creek has that man made concrete thing under the motorway bridge that makes it much narrower
