Hey Zolli

I’m not expert on that area, but by using mullet or eel in a deeper channel or hole, you have a pretty good chance at catching something large.

Yeah brought some eel up with me trouble is im limited to the shore and the boat ramp at Tewantin seems my best bet at this point but I’ve got my fingers crossed some legend might be able to point me in a better direction

Just get a surf board and go out around Ballina. Shouldn’t take long. They’ll find you.

As @AUS-BNE-FISHO said, at this time of year pretty much anywhere in the noosa river system is worth a go. They really aren’t hugely difficult to hook, lots of hungry younger sharks in all SEQ rivers at this time of year.

i’m no local expert around Tewantin but I’d suggest Chaplin park around the mouth of the canal would be a great place to start.

Around the barge over to North shore. You can walk along the bank towards Boreen Pt direction. More bull sharks than you can poke a stick at around there
