fishing this weekend

i was thinking of fishing landbased at southport seaway or the brissy river or somewhere near brisbane but i am a bit concerned about the weather and wondering if there is anywhere that is looking ok for fishing i dont mind showers i probably wouldnt want to fish in much more than 5mils of rain. i am planning to go and cast net some livies and fish somewhere with livies
