Just a quick note to say I saw Fisheries Officers near a bass spot of mine today which was good to see. Too may people have been exceeding their bag limits, plus they said they will be enforcing the closed season which is a bonus. I was happy to see them having a presence.

Agreed! I reckon they should have little 24hr DPI stations everywhere, where bass can be caught.. especially at Youngs Crossing, Pump station, Kurwongbah etc..

If i was a billionnaire, i would pay the government to set em up!

good to hear they are out and about, hear they have nailed a fair few at the closed waters at crosby too!! :woohoo: i seen them at mud on the weekend and they done the checks and all was good..we even let them know that one of their motors had a water block with no tell tail. think it was just blocked as they kept going and stopping until they just kept going..

yup, they are up and about ... at least on the seaway pump watching out for tailor ...

we might not have seen them cos' apparently they were in plain clothes :whistle:

getting close to the end of the financial year,so any money left in the kitty, they will be trying to get rid of,if they don`t Anna will slice funds off their budget for next year
