Off to Borumba Dam in a couple of weeks

Hey guys i am off to borumba dam in a couple of weeks for a bit off well deserved camping and fishing.

Any one been fishing and red clawing at the dam lately would love to hear how it went?

I was there a few weeks ago, can't help you too much except to say stick to the dam (don't go below the wall), and try the lower reaches nearer the wall first for the best chance at a Bass. For Saratoga I'm not sure if they're biting well or not, but your best chance is to get right in amongst the weeds etc. around the edges with your weed-resistant and surface lures. Very low light conditions are probably best for the Toga as well.

My experience is limited though, so maybe someone else can offer something else....

Not sure if I could help you mate but the redclaw should be sitting in shallow water at the moment, plus I cant wait to hear how you go as I am looking at heading out that way soon.

put your traps in shallow as the cold weather slows them down.

Try the weedy point near the second yellow buoy for bass on blades or icejigs. Good luck, and take the warm sleeping bag
