Got down to well point at 5am as planned to find already there were a fair few

boats out on the water. managed to get out onto the water without drama and prettty

soon after we set off Keen_as was onto some small tailor taken on the trall!

Fishing the hibis beacon was somewhat quiet for most of the morning with only one

legal squire boated between the three of us! luckily the snot weed didnt seem to be

too much of a problem although it was definately still present.

at least the sunrise was absolutely amazing and the water had flattened off

completely. after a couple of hours we moved out to the dropoffs out the back of the

channel markers where a few more undersized specimens were boated and duely released.

Headed back in at about 10.30.

We'll with lunch sorted out and a touch of housework i finall managed to convince

the boss that a trip to Camp Hill tackle warehouse was now a priority, a necessity

and not a pipe dream!

Well an hour later and im chuffed to pieces with a new Shimano T cure revolution in the 1-3 spin

class and a berkley dropshot IM7 Gen ii 3-5 kilo!!!!!

Got pretty good prices on the two of them, so home i hurried at 2.30pm to spool up the

shimano 2500 with 4lb braid.

Finally managed to get all my stuff together and get back out on the water to blood the new rods

in tinnie creek. After a short conversation seeking advice from plasticfantasic ( mark) i was out

on the water at 4pm to fish the sundown session,

Trawling a cultiva sp, these two lizards were both taken withing 30 mins of launch blooding the berkley

dropshot in by my standards impressive fashion!

Back home for an early night

Ready to repeat the whole process on tuesday for my RDO

Cheers for reading

Callum
