Hi all,

Well I haven't posted any trips of late because I have been off line waiting to get the new computer and anything I have posted has been via the iphone.

Anyway I'll try and make it quick consisting mostly of photos.

So to kick it off I'm going back to the MBC with my one entry and one a solid Bream at 398mm, a close second.

Then the one I couldn't get away from. I decided to spin for some Lizards when I had a little accident.

Whilst rigging up in the cold and the wind I caught myself. Not to be deterred I attempted to remove it myself and when that didn't work I made my way back to the ramp and someone else to have a go and that failed. So I headed home to my wife whom drove me to the hospital to have it removed. two hours later and I'm free.

More recently I worked down on the coast for a month and got out a couple of times. The first time was down the Pin with a fellow member Ant13 or Steersy. Anyway we were out on Steersy's boat when we found the birds working in behind the bar and found the Salmon going off. Loaded with bream gear I had some fun. All over three kilos. Three were caught on 4lb flouro straight through on a Mojiko Plastix rod and Daiwa 1500cy reel and on various plastics. The fourth on my Lemax Mountain and Daiwa Tierra with 6lb fireline using a lure my mate from Sandgate Tackleworld gave me to trial a Hotlips Jig. It was a hot 3 hour session, poor old Steersy missed out, I gave him 15 minutes while I controlled the boat as there were many out, probably 15 boats chasing them. Anyway after a number of dropped fish I had to jump and get back into it, sorry mate. The day finished with 4 solid Salmon boated and a number of lizards and bream.

So that brings me to my trip on the Broadwater with Bootyinblue. I again was't popular out-fishing the skipper, although I'm sure Booty is used to it... LOL. Any way we started in the seaway with the Kingfish going off, just not for us, I had one hook up on the light gear that lasted all of around 30 seconds. So we moved around a bit until we anchored up on a spot Booty had fished before. So to end the day we probably boated 8 or 9 lizards. I was fortunate enough to get the two keepers, one at 45 and the other at 60cm. Booty had a nice feed that night I guess.
