opps-reel reassembly problem

so i took apart my stradic for its clean and re-grease and saw that there had been a bit of water in it, so i totally stripped it down and put it back together buttttt.....now it feels like its got sand in it.

it feels and looks like the drive gear is scraping on the plastic bit below the pinion gear.

its not the first time i have taken it apart and i haven't had this problem before

if i took it somewhere that services reels would they fix it for me? i don't mind paying more for it does anyone know of anyone good on the northside that services reel?

Sounds like bearings, just pull it apart again and feel the 2 main gear bearings and maybe the other bearings too. The other thing to look at is check the schematic and make sure you have put all the washers in the right spot.

i did think maybe it was them but i didn't take them apart, but maybe some fell out of place ill give it a shot thanks
