2011 Austackle BRC - Saturday BBQ

This is a message for all AFO members attending the 2011 Austackle Brisbane River Classic!

The Team from Austackle are putting on a BBQ and all competitors of the event are welcome. The BBQ will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday the 10th at the Comslie boat ramp... AKA Event HQ.

This year Mike Cole has organised his entire Pro Team from from around Australia to come up to Brisbane to try out all the new Austackle stock for 2012. He has decided to conincide this gathering with the 2011 Austackle Brisbane River Classic. What does this mean for AFO members? At the BBQ on Saturday the entire pro team will be on hand to discuss the gear, tactics anything else one may want to know about the pro circuit. There will also be a full range of 2012 products available to peruse and heaps of bargains for those inclined.

One thing we havent really covered for the BBQ is if the weather is really bad - eg thunderstorms etc. Anybody have any suggestions where a BBQ can be held under Gazebos or similar?

Guys this is now a AFO Calendar event as well.

I am sure it would help the caterers if anyone planning to attend RSVP'd to this for an idea of numbers.

Ive had confirmation this morning that Dean Gamble will be attending. Dean is one of our Pro-Team from Victoria and finished 4th in last weeks ABT Grand Final. I am sure he will be more than happy to talk to the group or 1 on 1 about what techniques etc he used.
