Samaki zing

Hay guys looking at a 2-6lb Samaki zing rod to get next...does anyone have one? Any feedback on them?

IVe got the 8-15lb bought if yesterday and blooded it with nice barra last night ,

Fish was by catch chasing jacks so it obviously didn't seen any "blood"

Feels like a nice bit of gear can wait to load it up even further

They look the goods, thought i'd try something different and buy a rod that wasn't by Shimano, not that theres anything wrong with them IMO. However im sticking to a shimano reel lol

Yep I've got the 4 to 8LB Zing and an Alure aswell and I highly rate it. The rod has caught me everything, bream, snapper, jacks and CrazyW even got a mac tuna on it, so yeah they are worth getting.

I'm still not sure exactly if I'm after the 2-6 or 4-8?? It is for HB's and very light to unweighted plastics. How do you think the 4-8lb would be for that?

Depends on what action the rod has Howie, i like a whippy tip when throwing hardbodies because when some fish hit the lure - the action of the rod (read bend) helps to set the hooks.

ie ur slow rolling not paying attention, bang zzzzzzzzzzz rod is already bent over and the pressure of the rod bending has already set hooks. wow strange example but hope that helps.

I have used the 4 to 8LB for light finesse stuff and it isn't bad but I would prbably go the lighter stick

Yea I like te lighter rod for sure, and it has a very soft tip do it'll do the job nicely.
